Our History

Casa Sanchez was stablished in 1989 under the name of Pancho’s Place and has become one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in Prescott, AZ. In 2002 Alejandro Garcia acquired the restaurant from his uncle and by 2003 he changed its name to what is currently known as Casa Sanchez. Since then, Alejandro has made it his goal to nourish and bring forward authentic flavors and traditions to every dish influenced by his hometown from the state of Jalisco, Mexico.

In Nov. 2023, Casa Sanchez faced an overall building remodel from the outside to the inside with the vision of elevating their guest’s experience to a new level. Aiming to immerge them straight to Mexico, they have imported all their art pieces, booths and tables directly from Jalisco. Alejandro is and will continue to commit to improving his guests experience forward.
